TASTING NOTES :
NOSE: The nose is indulgent and complex, revealing notes of toffee and spices like pepper and cardamom, with a hint of bitter orange that brings a tangy freshness. There are also aromas of nuts and acacia honey, enriched by whiffs of ripe mango.
PALATE: On the palate, Doorly's XO Gold stands out with a silky and velvety texture that envelops the mouth. The flavors of vanilla and banana harmonize perfectly with those of raisins and sherry, offering exceptional taste richness. Botran Solera 18Y is a rum aged at high altitude in the mountains of Guatemala. It is made from a blend of rums aged between 5 and 18 years and has undergone Solera aging. The American oak barrels used for the Solera process are former Sherry and Port casks. Additionally, the aging warehouses are located at an altitude of 2,300 meters, which intensifies the aging process, thereby developing delicate aromas of vanilla, tobacco, and sandalwood.

Many years ago, they filled new make Finlaggan into Rioja Red Wine Hogsheads. Coming from the Rioja region within the Basque country of Spain, these Hogsheads have given the signature heavily peated Finlaggan an extra layer of rich mouth coating red berried fruit flavours. The result is a truly mouthwatering sweet and smoky dram to savour. The extrac-tion from the oak casks has given this whisky a beautifully rich natural coppery rose gold colour.

This 7-year-old Irish Single Malt whiskey from Glendalough in Wicklow was matured in American Bourbon barrels and finished in Japanese Mizunara barrels from Hokkaido, in the volcanic north of Japan.
