Cù Bòcan 15 Year Old takes us back to where it all began, when Cu Bocan first started producing lightly peated spirit at Tomatin Distillery in the midst of winter. Matured fully in Oloroso Sherry casks for a minimum of 15 years, this is a decadent single malt with sun dried fruits and smoky exotic spices.

Penderyn Legend constitutes the ideal introduction to the first Welsh whisky distillery. Fully matured in bourbon casks, this single malt spent a few additional months in Madeira casks, giving it sweet and fruity notes. The red dragon, featured in many folk tales, also appears on the national flag of Wales. Nestled near the Brecon Beacons National Park, Penderyn's single malts derive their gentle and subtle character from the combination of a unique distillation technique using bespoke Faraday stills and a distinctive maturation art, the result of Dr. Jim Swan’s expertise and carried on since 2018 by master distiller Aista Phillips.

The Lossit Classic is a whisky revisited by The Lost Distillery Company. This brand is dedicated to recreating the flavor profiles of Scotland's lost distilleries, and Lossit is one of its jewels. At its peak, Lossit was one of the most productive distilleries on Islay, surpassing even legends such as Lagavulin or Bowmore. This whisky offers an authentic experience, blending Islay's history with a contemporary tasting marked by notes of peat, pear, pepper, and almond, with a silky and delicately smoky finish.

The 9th in Penderyn’s Icons of Wales Edition whiskies is called The Headliner. The only Welsh Prime Minister, David Lloyd George (1863-1945), was a social reformer and accidentally established the premium whisky industry. He became a symbol of the national reawakening of Wales, and created more headlines than any other 20th century statesman. This 70cl bottle has an abv of 46%, and is matured in Jamaican Rum & Ruby Port Casks.

Often considered the preferred grape variety for aging, here we find the raw Baco Armagnac, without any artifice, identical to how it emerges from the still.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: A vibrant bouquet of fresh citrus with delicate floral notes. Juniper, distinctly present, blends with subtle spicy touches and a slight hint of cardamom.

PALATE: The attack is smooth and complex, marked by a slight sweetness balanced by lemon and juniper flavors. Spices, including Saigon cinnamon, bring fine depth with a crisp, zesty kick in the background.

FINISH: Medium in length, the finish is marked by crisp, clean citrus touches, supported by a balanced dryness and light earthy notes, leaving a lingering spicy impression.
