Freespririt 45% amber rum develops a character both subtle and powerful dispensed by notes of orange peel, vanilla and spices. To discover!
The Papillon House, operated by François Longueteau, owes its reputation to its exceptional know-how and its high standards in the elaboration of its rums, while knowing how to offer products that are accessible to both amateurs and connoisseurs.
The Longueteau House has gradually built up an excellent reputation in the Guadeloupean rum sector, producing some of the best vintages representative of this region.
A family and independent operation, founded in 1895...
This year, it has launched a daring enterprise: to popularize agricultural rums, by delivering a "fun" and modern version of them accessible to all in supermarkets. The Papillon brand is the result of this innovative experiment.
We discover here the second reference: after the white rum, here is the amber rum! Papillon Freespirit, is its name, which refers to the nickname given to the island of Guadeloupe.
The nose evokes scents of citrus fruits, in particular orange, accompanied by spices such as cinnamon or star anise. In the palate, we find these same flavors, completed by a greedy vanilla.
A very good amber rum, as only Longueteau has the secret, presented in a bottle with a pure, colorful and original design!

Karakoli, an aged rum from the Baie des Trésors collection, draws its distinctive character from the dry plots of Spoutourne, located at the tip of the Caravelle peninsula in Martinique. These lands, scarcely exposed to tropical rains, offer ideal conditions for growing cane that is concentrated in aroma and intensity. This very scarcity of water gives Karakoli its unique aromatic richness and structure, highlighting the power of an arid terroir. The 2020 vintage of Karakoli benefited from aging in American oak barrels, a method that enhances round, lightly vanilla notes while preserving the wild and robust soul of the cane. Thanks to this parcel-based approach, every detail of the terroir is fully expressed, elevated by the precise work of the cellar master, Stéphane Gouyer. Thi...
