Aged for 3 more years in re-charred American oak ex-bourbon casks, resulting in a darker and bolder rum with notes of dried fruits, cocoa, and a hint of oak. Monymusk is the legendary Jamaican distillery that is part of the island's heritage! It has made a name for itself by producing high-proof "heavy rums." Located in the south of Jamaica, Monymusk is one of the island’s oldest estates. Although it has been producing rum since the early 20th century, it was only a few years ago that it decided to market it under its own name, Monymusk.
TASTING NOTES :
NOSE : Notes of molasses and oak delicately balanced by ripe fruits, vanilla, and caramel.
PALATE : Smooth and silky, with hints of oak, a touch of orange zest, and a blend of Caribbean spices.
FINISH : Balanced.
