Many years ago, they filled new make Finlaggan into Rioja Red Wine Hogsheads. Coming from the Rioja region within the Basque country of Spain, these Hogsheads have given the signature heavily peated Finlaggan an extra layer of rich mouth coating red berried fruit flavours. The result is a truly mouthwatering sweet and smoky dram to savour. The extrac-tion from the oak casks has given this whisky a beautifully rich natural coppery rose gold colour.

Xibal Gin is a drink distilled through a copper alembic, in the presence of natural botanicals such as juniper roots, pericón, fennel, coriander, and spices such as black pepper, lemon, laurel, cardamomo, pericon and orange. Glendalough's Double Barrel Irish Whiskey begins its maturation process in flame charred ex Bourbon American oak. It is finished in Oloroso casks from Montilla , a small town found in the rolling hills of the Spanish countryside. Glendalough choose the bodega, the liquid, the casks and the cooper in this region of Spain to deliver a terroir driven sense of this land , encapsulated in the liquid when we put our whiskey in these slow toasted casks for aging. These specially selected casks combined with expert liquid finishing, deliver a rich and complex flavour to our Double Barrel Irish Whiskey.
