The rum is aged using the solera process for aging spirits, in which barrels containing older spirits are “topped off” and married with younger spirit from other barrels as the angel’s share takes its toll. Afterwards the rums blended are aged again in Single Malt Scotch Whisky oak barrels for at least 6 months. By the time, the rum is bottled. “Rum Cañero Finnished Malt Scotch Whisky” has been created personally by the great RUM MASTER JUAN ALBERTO ALVAREZ, professional with huge experience on the Rum Art, which has been developed among very well known distilleries throughout all Caribbean.

No less than 74! (yes, seventy-four) herbs and essences, the so-called botanicals from 19 different countries from the Alpine region, the Mediterranean to Madagascar and India, give the BLACK GIN its individual fine note and its absolute unique position.

The star of "bleutiful" aperitifs! An aperitif crafted through the maceration of green anise, star anise, and licorice, inspired by the blue skies of Provence and the Mediterranean. Provence is the only place in the world where the aperitif combines the sea, gastronomy, and the art of living with sport, thanks to pétanque. The aperitif thus becomes a unique moment that brings together friends and family, where several generations gather to share convivial moments enriched by the charm Marcel Pagnol has accustomed us to.

To blend this special batch, Francis Abécassis and Frédéric David the Cellar Master, have selected eaux-de-vie renowned for their rich aromas, aged in the estate’s oldest casks. Each sip of this precious cognac reveals harmonious and powerful flavours, symbolised by the strength of the dragon.

The terrior of ABK6 is a chalky hilltop at 154m of altitude. For this spirit 100% Ugni-blanc grapes were used. The vinification took place in thermoregulated vats. The distillation was a double distillation in small charentals pot-stills. This Cognac is aged in new and old French Limousin oak barrels of 350 liters.

TASTIN NOTES

Nose: Pungent peaty smoke. Phenolic with a little coastal breeze.

Palate: Lovely sweet peatiness. Some iodine and sea salt balance with vanilla notes and some spice

Finish: Waves of smoke. Fantastic length.
