This liquid gem embodies the captivating first expression of the Roaju cuvée, a meticulous blend of rums aged in barrels steeped in history. The magic of Botran lies in the expert use of various casks: ex-Bourbon barrels, re-charred Bourbon barrels, ex-Sherry barrels, and ex-Port barrels, following a dynamic aging method. Refined in ex-Spanish wine barrels from Burgos, this rum offers a unique identity, rich in nuances and character.
TASTING NOTES
MAIN NOTE: Dark fruits and prunes.
NOSE: Toasted wood, caramelized notes, dark fruits, and prunes. Spicy like cinnamon and pepper.
PALATE: Dense, dark fruits (prunes and black cherries), toasted wood, roasted coffee.
FINISH: Caramel.
