Tomatin Portuguese Trio Madeira

Cognac & coffee liqueur calls on Merlet’s expertise as both distillers and liqueur-makers, and showcases two after-dinner classics. Merlet partnered with Merling, a local coffee roaster from La Rochelle to select the origin and variety of the coffee (Brazilian Arabica) but also to work directly with freshly roasted coffee.

TASTIN NOTES

Nose: Pungent peaty smoke. Phenolic with a little coastal breeze.

Palate: Lovely sweet peatiness. Some iodine and sea salt balance with vanilla notes and some spice

Finish: Waves of smoke. Fantastic length.

Cihuatan Xaman, originating from El Paisnal, San Salvador, El Salvador, is a 16-year-old rum with 40% Alc./Vol., aged for 15 years in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished for 1 year in Mayan ceiba casks. At the heart of every bottle of Cihuatán Xaman lies the Sleeping Woman, a Mayan goddess and guardian of the Cihuatán valley. Legend has it that, under the veil of the night, the Sleeping Woman would search for the brightest star in the sky. It was Xaman, the god of the North Star.

Finished in Californian red wine and ex bourbon casks, Bladnoch Samsara Single Malt is luscious, full bodied and fragrant, with a rich, lingering core.

Tullibardine The Murray 2008 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Marquess Collection. Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024, this whisky is limited to only 15,720 bottles worldwide. This unique single malt has been finished in Châteauneuf-du-Pape red wine casks, one of France's most renowned crus, enhancing its character with rich and complex aromas. The perfect combination of the fruity richness from the wine casks and notes of vanilla and caramel results in an exceptional whisky, ideal for discerning connoisseurs. Inspired by the Old Pulteney 1989, Huddart is matured in American oak exbourbon barrels, before being finished in ex-peated malt casks.
