Following on from the multi-award-winning success of our Brecon Special Reserve Gin and our Brecon Botanicals Gin, Penderyn are delighted to announce the launch of Rhubarb & Cranberry gin. It is based on our Brecon Special Reserve gin (which won Gold at the 2020 Spirits Business Global Gin Masters) and bottled at 37.5% abv.
TASTING NOTES
A burst of tangy rhubarb blends with bittersweet cranberry to give a fresh and fruity gin. Aromas of juicy grapefruit and fresh strawberries swirl on the nose, while juniper mingles with coriander and sweet orris root in the mouth, leaving a dry lingering finish.

Made with pure, fresh sugar cane juice from the adjacent sugar refinery, this is a rum that showcases the traditions of Reunion Island, blending powerful flavours.The development of the 52% abv favours a strong concentration of aromas, and emphasises the rum’s rich rounded character.
Matured for 15 years, this is our most balanced and smooth single malt. Balancing two different sides of the flavour spectrum, this single malt marries these perfectly, whilst also reflecting our coastal home and its unwavering influence. On one hand, this is an intense single malt, yet at the same time, it is truly balanced. Spice and sweetness unite in this naturally rich amber whisky to celebrate rich flavours, yet lighter, more refreshing coastal notes show another side of this single malt.
Spicebox was inspired by a crafty Canadian, who would ship the contraband cargo in wooden barrels, black stamped with Spices. all was going according to plan, until a barrel took a spill, and their exporting days were over! The brand name itself communicates the flavor, and intrinsically links us to spiced whisky. The colours of the fonts, orange and brown, are related to the general perception of spice — the warmth conveyed through the various spice flavors. The branding and other fonts that are representative of the fonts of the products and printing of the 1920s, during Prohibition.
Coloma 8 Years is an exceptional Colombian rum, rooted in the Spanish tradition. Column-distilled from two varieties of sugarcane, it undergoes 8 years of aging in American oak barrels before being refined in former coffee liqueur casks. This unique finish imparts gourmet and complex notes, perfectly harmonizing with its refined aromatic profile. This rum is crafted under the supervision of two female cellar masters, Sandra Reategui and Judith Ramirez, who ensure precision at every stage of production.
The European Edition blends fragrant myrrh and the distinct aromatic bitterness of cascarilla bark. Inspired by Venice’s 500+ year rich spice trade history and the Italian love affair with cascarilla bark used to create highly aromatic tonics, bitters and vermouths. This is a bold, savoury-led spiced London Dry gin with balanced bitter notes and mixes perfectly with sweet vermouth and Campari to create a spiced twist on a classic Negroni cocktail. While cascarilla bark is not native to Europe, it is present in any bitter liqueurs in the south of the continent and adds an aromatic and fragrant twist to OPIHR’s flavour profile.
Aged in 1st-fill ex-bourbon casks, then for a time in 500-litre Spanish Sherry casks, which give it its hazelnut-brown color.
Rum Cañero Reserva is produced following the centenary recipes from the Dominican rums that the laureate General Máximo Gómez used to relish during his campaigns in the independency war of Cuba. Represents a toast in honor of the hankering he felt for his land, the Dominican Republic, mother of the best, the maximum, Cañero. The rum is aged using the solera process for aging spirits, in which barrels containing older spirits are “topped off” and married with younger spirit from other barrels as the angel’s share takes its toll.
