This superb Speyburn was aged in American and Spanish oak casks for 18 years before being bottled at 46% ABV. This bottling is dedicated to Speyburn's distillery manager, Bobby Anderson, as by happy coincidence 2018 is his 18th year at the distillery.

The Meikle Tòir – The Chinquapin One is a peated single malt, carefully crafted and refined in virgin Chinquapin oak casks sourced from the Northern Ozarks, USA. With an extended fermentation of 160 hours and a smoke profile measured at 35 PPM, this single malt reveals a complexity that perfectly complements maturation in virgin oak casks.
