The relative arid nature of the location and the wind have created a beautiful concentration of essential aromas, notably floral in the cane, which are particularly present after suitable distillation and ageing. Coloma 15 Years is a rum that embodies Colombian craftsmanship through a unique aging process. Distilled from sugarcane molasses, this rum ages for 15 years in American oak barrels before undergoing a finishing period of 3 to 5 months in casks that previously held Coloma coffee liqueur. Produced from the highest quality sugar cane grown in Jamaica, this pot still rum was expertly sourced by Master Blender Billy Walker from Southern Jamaica’s Clarendon Distillery and transferred to the cool Scottish climate for full maturation at The GlenAllachie Distillery.
