For centuries the stormy waters of the Atlantic Ocean has not only shaped the character of the people of Islay but also the character of their famous whiskies. In many ways this fine malt mirrors the character of Islay people – strong yet gentle, warm yet mellow, but with a maturity beyond its years. A golden color with beautiful amber nuances. The nose offers notes of orange zest and sharp candy with flora gint. On the palate, flavours of candied orange peel and marmalade mingle, then the tangy note returns in force to give us a long, delicate finish.

This time, the brand takes us to Jamaica to discover a very old VSOP rum. This creation from the Worthy Park distillery was aged for 4 years in Bourbon casks before being transported to the Cognac region for an additional six months of maturation in the brand’s cellars in Chevanceaux. This cuvée has thus undergone double aging, first in a tropical climate and then in a continental one.
