Lemorton Rareté
Martine and Didier craft their vintage Calvados domfrontais. To understand the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, Calvados must contain at least 30% pears. In the family business, Calvados consists of about 70% pears and 30% apples. The characteristics of Calvados during tasting: A beautiful freshness with sparkling aromas highlighted. A lively and dry character on the retro-olfaction. It will be followed by notes of spices, caramelized vanillas, honey, and hazelnut. At the end of the mouth, we will notice a long finish with many caudalies. This local product is typical of the Orne bocage, where we are fortunate to use it to transform well-ripened fruits into wonderful eaux-de-vie.
Tasting Notes
Nose: From the first inhalation, Lemorton Calvados Rareté enchants with its light and delicate floral aromas, followed by fresh notes of pear and apple peel. The long aging period adds a subtle woody touch, bringing additional depth to the aromatic profile.
Palate: On the palate, this eau-de-vie is soft and silky, with a richness and complexity that captivate the senses. Each sip reveals a harmony between the fruity notes and the woody character, leading to a long and satisfying finish.

Mezcal Koch Maguey Tobala - 47.24%
Maguey tobala (Agave potatorum) grows wildly at high altitudes and it is often cultivated as well. Its relatively minuscule size yields extremely limited quantities of intensely aromatic mezcal. Due to its tiny size and long growing period (12-15 years), Maguey tobalá is becoming increasingly rare in some regions. Unlike most other maguey, tobala does not produce hijuelos, which are the shoots or pups that sprout around the main plant once it has matured. For this reason, tobala can only grow from seed.
