TASTING NOTES :
NOSE: From the moment it is opened, the nose is intense and complex. Caramelized and roasted aromas dominate, evoking molasses crackling on wood and freshly roasted nuts. After aeration, notes of orange liqueur, coconut, and roasted chestnuts unfold, bringing additional depth.
PALATE: On the palate, the 1914 Ron Edicion Gatun is distinguished by its spicy and dark flavors. A powerful puff of molasses opens the tasting, quickly followed by nuances of licorice and coffee in perfect harmony with roasted oak. The rum then evolves towards sweeter notes, enveloping the palate in a sweet softness of vanilla and caramel.
FINISH: The finish is round and gourmet, marked by touches of vanilla and a subtle hint of coconut, leaving a lasting and pleasant impression.
