Finished in XO Calvados casks from the grazed orchards of Normandy in France which have formerly stowed apple brandy for over 6 years.

The terrior of ABK6 is a chalky hilltop at 154m of altitude. For this spirit 100% Ugni-blanc grapes were used. The vinification took place in thermoregulated vats. The distillation was a double distillation in small charentals pot-stills. This Cognac is aged in new and old French Limousin oak barrels of 350 liters.

Almost five years since we formed the GlenAllachie Distillers Company, bringing the distillery back into private ownership, we released the very special expression as an extension of our core range. Aged in 1st-fill ex-bourbon casks, then for a time in 500-litre Spanish Sherry casks, which give it its hazelnut-brown color.

This Limited – Last Casks – Edition is crafted from the sole remaining lot blended in 1998, comprising rums distilled on the Diamond Coffey Still, and rum that was once produced on the since-discontinued Tri-Canada Redistillation Still. This Rum was artfully crafted by the Master Distiller George Robinson and aged for 24 years in the Barrel warehouse in Guyana.
