For their Merlet VSOP Cognac, Gilles and his sons selected and blended eaux-de-vie from different regions of the cognac appellation, to ensure consistent quality. The eaux-de-vie were aged for at least four years. Most of the Cognacs selected for this blend are from Fins Bois ‘crus’, famed for their fruitiness and their capacity to mature fast when barrel-aged.

Ron Relicario Peated Finish is an evolution of Ron Relicario Superior, a rum from the Dominican Republic aged between 5 and 10 years in bourbon casks. It is then aged a second time in Speyside, Scotland, in peated single malt Scotch whisky casks.
