Elaborated in Guatemala, Botran Ki’ is an exceptional rum crafted from virgin sugar cane honey, a noble base that gives it a unique aromatic richness.
This rum is the result of dynamic aging, where the rums are carefully matured in an adapted solera system, ensuring a perfect harmony between youth and maturity.
With a finish in sweet wine casks, notably those that contained Moscatel, Botran Ki’ offers remarkable sweetness and roundness, while maintaining an authentic aromatic profile with no added sugar.
It is equally suited for neat tasting or the creation of sophisticated cocktails, thus offering great versatility to bartenders and sommeliers.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: A vibrant bouquet of fresh citrus with delicate floral notes. Juniper, distinctly present, blends with subtle spicy touches and a slight hint of cardamom.

PALATE: The attack is smooth and complex, marked by a slight sweetness balanced by lemon and juniper flavors. Spices, including Saigon cinnamon, bring fine depth with a crisp, zesty kick in the background.

FINISH: Medium in length, the finish is marked by crisp, clean citrus touches, supported by a balanced dryness and light earthy notes, leaving a lingering spicy impression.

TASTING NOTES: NOSE: A bouquet of ripe dark fruits such as blackberry and plum, enhanced by indulgent notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak. A subtle hint of cinnamon and candied red fruits adds elegant depth. PALATE: The opening reveals flavors of blackberries, currants, and plums intertwining harmoniously. Gradually, soft spices emerge, accompanied by a textured richness. FINISH: Long and creamy, with a raspberry sweetness.

Grappa with a refined and assertive aroma and an enchanting flavor, it is harmonious and persistent on the palate. It is obtained through the bain-marie distillation of Amarone pomace (Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara) in a discontinuous still, then aged in small 500-liter oak barrels for a period of at least 36 months, during which the master distiller closely monitors the evolution of the blend, checking the fragrances and aromas to achieve optimal balance.

This agricultural rum aged in oak barrels is greedy and seductive. It claims its Reunionese origins through its very typical notes of sugar cane present throughout the tasting.
