A careful selection of the best neutral alcohols, together with the use of white Albariño Galician grapes, are the indispensable base of our gin, giving Nordés its unmistakable fresh and soft character. The Kurayoshi Pure Malt is aged for over 3 years in oak casks. It has a soft and refreshing fragrance of malted barley complimented by sweet and tart notes of rum raisins, malt and vanilla. The light finish is a reminder of Tottori’s pure spring water used during distillation.
This fresh, rose-petal gin was first made to honour Glendalough's Head Distiller Ciaran “Rowdy” Rooney's mother Rose, at his little brother's wedding. Carefully-tended flowers from her rose garden are vapor distilled with wild roses and plants from the mountains around the distillery to make this an intensely floral gin. After distilling, the gin is then further infused with even more roses to deepen the flavours and give it its lovely pink hue.
