Elaborated in Guatemala, Botran Ki’ is an exceptional rum crafted from virgin sugar cane honey, a noble base that gives it a unique aromatic richness.
This rum is the result of dynamic aging, where the rums are carefully matured in an adapted solera system, ensuring a perfect harmony between youth and maturity.
With a finish in sweet wine casks, notably those that contained Moscatel, Botran Ki’ offers remarkable sweetness and roundness, while maintaining an authentic aromatic profile with no added sugar.
It is equally suited for neat tasting or the creation of sophisticated cocktails, thus offering great versatility to bartenders and sommeliers.

TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR: A garnet colour.

NOSE: Rich aromas of blackberry compote, custard, and crushed dried violets.

PALATE: A silky, sweet, and rich fruity palate, finishing with long notes of forest fruits, honey, elderflower, and gentle spices.

A welcome return to Suffolk’s brewery/distillery for our second batch of Adnams single malt whisky. This release has spent it’s time maturing a second fill French Oak cask, followed by an Islay Cask finish, so while not a smoky malt in itself, the ex-Islay cask brings a smoky dimension to this English malt. Adnams is a long established brewery with a colourful history of over a century in the making. Their Copper House distillery was opened in 2010 and was the first brewery to be legally distilling spirits in the UK. Their first whisky was bottled in December 2013

Madrecuishe Maguey madrecuishe (madre-cuixe, madrecuixe) is a karwinskii agave. It grows primarily in dry climates and usually takes on a tall, cylindrical shape. Due to the dense core of the agave and its low water content, mezcal made from maguey madre-cuishe generally has a high minerality with vegetal and floral notes.

Sauternes is made from grapes which have undergone ‘noble rot’, causing their moisture to evaporate, hence concentrating the sugars. The sauternes cask brings sweetness and complexity to the mature spirit. Expect fruits like apricots or peaches, you may also find honey or nuts.|TASTING NOTES|• NoseFragrant honeyand summer fruits. This delicious spiced rum has a core of orange, ginger and cacao nibs, along with ingredients too secret to mention! Smoked over a peat fire, it is an intensely smoky experience unlike any other rum in existence. A true reflection of its Islay roots.

This 8 Year Old single malt has been finished in an ex-Chouchen cask, and bottled at natural cask strength. Historically Distillerie Warenghem produced a range of fruit & plant liqueurs, and Chouchen, which has long been a popular drink in Brittany. Chouchen is native to Brittany. It’s a form of mead, and is made from the fermentation of honey in water. Traditionally, buckwheat honey is used, and the fermentation process begins with the addition of freshly pressed apple juice.
