Don Papa Sherry Casks
Sherry Casks Finish: an exclusive premium limited edition rum distilled on the island of Negros in the Philippines. The island, located on Mount Kanlaon. Don Papa Sherry Casks Finish is a molasses-based rum distilled by column, first aged for four years in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels, followed by 18 months in four different types of Sherry casks: Fino, Pedro Ximenez, Cream and Palo Cortado. The rums from these four casks are then carefully blended by the "Don Papa Master Blender" to produce a unique limited edition rum, unfiltered and bottled at 45% to further enhance its distinctive taste.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR: Light amber
NOSE: The nose is sweet and fruity with notes of ripe raisins.
PALATE: The mouth has a full-bodied but delicate sweetness with notes of plum, dark chocolate, and ripe fig.
FINISH: An extremely long finish almost coating the palate with a velvety texture.
