The 10th in Penderyn’s Icons Of Wales Edition whiskies is called YMA O HYD. This is a patriotic anthem, written by Dafydd Iwan, and has been adopted by the Red Wall (Welsh football supporters). This whisky is produced in partnership with FA Wales as their official whisky for the Wales campaign at the World Cup in 2022.

TASTING NOTES : NOSE: The nose is marked by captivating notes of raisins and vanilla, opening up to nuances of cooked sugar and caramel. A dark and thick molasses unfolds, enriched by touches of black licorice and coffee grounds. Roasted and grilled nuts add extra depth. PALATE : On the palate, the rum first reveals flavors of candied fruits and flambéed banana. Its smooth and sweet texture evolves into aromas of caramel, vanilla, and lightly cooked honey. Toasted notes blend with woody and moist impressions, almost evoking paper or wet cardboard. Light spices and a subtle cereal note remind of a soft bread. A true flagship of the Foursquare distillery: Doorly's XO Gold is an exceptional rum, aged between six and twelve years in bourbon casks and then finished for several months in Oloroso sherry casks.

This double aging process gives this rum remarkable complexity and depth, appealing to both whiskey and cognac enthusiasts.

Old Pulteney Flotilla 2012 is a Highlands whisky aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks. Over the years, the casks have gently absorbed all the sea breeze from the North of Scotland, giving the whisky its sweet and complex flavors and its coastal characteristics. It is not surprising that Old Pulteney is known as the "maritime malt".

Cihuatán Alux is a limited edition rum inspired by the Mayan Legend of the Aluxes, guardian gods of the land. According to Mayan lore, these gods lived in maize and cacao fields, as these were regarder as the most sacred gifts of the earth. At the beginning of every harvest season, the Maya would hold an enchanting feast full of rich treats of chocolate and corn in gratitude to the Aluxes. Now as our gift for these guardian gods, our Master Blender has crafted this rum with notes of Mayan atole, cashew nuts, ginger, cinnamon sticks, roasted corn and chocolate mousse.
