This limited edition ABK6 VSOP Cognac was designed in collaboration with Chinese artists to celebrate the Year of the Snake.
Francis Abécassis, owner of the House, and Master Cellar Frédéric David selected eaux-de-vie known for their aromatic richness and aged them in the oldest barrels of the estate.
This cognac, with its harmonious and powerful character, evokes the strength and wisdom symbolized by the snake in Asian culture.
TASTING NOTES :
NOSE: The bouquet is rich and complex, revealing woody and spicy notes. Aromas of cinnamon, orange peel, and dried figs add depth and subtlety.
PALATE: The attack is balanced, blending fruity and woody aromas. Notes of candied fruits, hazelnut, and walnut emerge, offering a savory and nuanced palette, imbued with finesse and elegance.
FINISH: Long and delicate, it concludes with subtle flavors of dried fruits and a soft, lingering mouthfeel.

It then undergoes a 4 to 6-month aging process in oak barrels (depending on the weather) to develop woody notes, vanilla, dried nuts, roasted almonds, and smoky accents. Gun’s Bell reveals powerful and indulgent aromas, releasing an incomparable flow of flavors with both fruity and smoky notes.

Don Papa Gayuma, meaning “love potion” in Tagalog, is a unique cuvée that pays tribute to the traditions of the shamans of Negros Island, Philippines. This super-premium rum, crafted with care, combines artisanal expertise with a rich history of rituals and legends. This rum is the result of an exceptional aging and finishing process. Aged for 3 years in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, then refined for 6 months in Rioja barrels toasted at high temperatures and an additional 3 months in intensely charred Islay whisky oak barrels, this rum reveals a complexity that surprises and delights. With its peated notes (a first in the Don Papa universe) and its rich, indulgent bouquet, it invites discerning connoisseurs to a unique and intriguing experience.
The Kurayoshi Pure Malt is aged for over 3 years in oak casks. It has a soft and refreshing fragrance of malted barley complimented by sweet and tart notes of rum raisins, malt and vanilla. The light finish is a reminder of Tottori’s pure spring water used during distillation.
Cihuatán Suerte is a limited edition rum inspired by the legend of Muwaan Mat, the Mayan god of luck. The Mayan people believed that this god shared the gift of luck through crystals. To harness it, they filtered water with quartz during a sacred ritual, then enjoyed drinks at enchanting celebrations. This bottle, with its beautiful vivid colors, catches the eye. It contains a delicious extra-aged rum, the result of column still distillation, followed by 15 to 17 years of aging in oak barrels, and finally filtered over quartz.
