Distilled in Sainte-Marie, on the lands of Capesterre Belle-Eau, this cuvée reflects the ancestral expertise of the Longueteau house. Blending tradition and modernity, this rum is a true ode to creativity and Guadeloupean heritage. The bottle, adorned with a work by Shuck One, celebrates the tropical forest of Basse-Terre and the island's cultural roots.
TASTING NOTES:
NOSE: A gourmet and refined bouquet, dominated by pastry aromas of fresh butter. Subtle citrus nuances add a delicate liveliness, while a light vanilla and woody background hints at aging in cognac barrels.
PALATE: The attack is smooth and creamy, revealing flavors of delicate caramel and candied fruits (apricots, raisins). The complexity deepens with roasted and spicy notes, while maintaining a beautiful harmony. The silky and enveloping texture leaves an impression of elegant roundness.

Many years ago, they filled new make Finlaggan into Rioja Red Wine Hogsheads. Coming from the Rioja region within the Basque country of Spain, these Hogsheads have given the signature heavily peated Finlaggan an extra layer of rich mouth coating red berried fruit flavours. The result is a truly mouthwatering sweet and smoky dram to savour. The extrac-tion from the oak casks has given this whisky a beautifully rich natural coppery rose gold colour.
