Cihuatan Indigo 8 Y is a true invitation to travel, a vibrant homage to the culture and heritage of the Mayan civilization of El Salvador.
This unique cuvée owes its name to the indigo color, an essential component of the famous "Mayan blue," a hue found on the frescoes of ancient temples buried in the jungle.
Distilled and aged in the heart of the Cihuatán valley, this rum reveals all the authenticity and richness of an unknown terroir.
Each bottle is adorned with Mayan iconography, bearing witness to the deep history and tradition of this civilization.
Produced in the heart of Reunion Island, this traditional old rum is blended from a dozen oak casks of a dozen oak barrels from the Limousin and Allier regions. This union balance between the strength of cellar ageing and the explosion of noble aromas released released after 5 years in casks. The result is a rum with exotic notes, roundness and intoxicating length.
Sérum Mamie is an intense smooth blend of Panamanian dark aged rums with cocoa, vanilla and toffee.
The auburn hue of this whisky comes directly from its passage through the 228-liter barrels that formerly housed the Pinot Noir from Château de Chassagne-Montrachet.
The apples are mixed, crushed and pressed. The apple juice is fermented right out to give cider to be distilled. Double distillation is carried out 6 months after the fermentation has taken place. The first distillation gives the "petite eau" at 30% by volume and it is the second distillation, that of the "petite eau" which gives the Calvados.
Aging: Two years minimum. In toasted 400 l (88 imperial gallon) oak barrels, 50% of which are new.
