Only such a high degree can ensure a fully developed aromatic expression. The rum is therefore free of any dilution, which is usually used to achieve a reduction close to 40%. Renowned for its mastery of finishes, Coloma confirms its expertise with this cask strength, vintage 2010, which completed its maturation with just 30 days in casks that previously held coffee liqueur.
TASTING NOTES :
NOSE: The cuvée releases a scent of eucalyptus, enhanced with spicy notes. Once the first impressions fade, chocolate leaves a more pronounced mark while a sweeter profile gradually emerges, with aromas of date and maple syrup. Hints of toasted wood complete this first sensory discovery.
PALATE: The entry on the palate is both intense and silky, with sweet spices and roasted notes. A gourmet sensation fills the mouth.
