With this very exclusive LEVIATHAN blend, we aim to highlight once again the art of blending by mixing two astonishing casks from Guadeloupe and Panama.
We have thus achieved the ultimate balance between complexity and smoothness.
This LEVIATHAN Blend is a combination composed of 56.1% of a 1973 Guadeloupe rum and 43.9% of a 1996 Panama rum.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE: Very distinctive, expressed with strong touches of amber, patchouli, coffee, and tonka bean. Finally, the bottom of the glass after tasting reveals beautiful aromas of rancio.
PALATE: Explosion of aromas with a racy character. Tertiary notes, such as leather and freshly roasted coffee, appear initially, then move on to notes of toasted bread, roots, and spices (pink pepper, cinchona).
FINISH: Very pronounced bitterness (due to its old age). With licorice and woodiness highlighting its powerful character.
