L'Absinthe La Fée Parisienne is the most authentic expression of classic green absinthe.
Made from 100% natural ingredients, this absinthe is distilled according to a traditional 19th-century recipe.
The result is a superior absinthe of remarkable quality, both powerful and balanced, adhering to ancient techniques to capture the essence of great creative spirits like Van Gogh, Rimbaud, and Toulouse-Lautrec.
La Fée Parisienne is the first traditional absinthe distilled in France since the ban was lifted in 1915.
TASTING NOTES:
NOSE: Neat, the nose reveals a dominant herbal profile with Artemisia absinthium at the forefront, supported by sweet notes of anise, fennel, and a spicy touch of coriander. The aroma is powerful yet refined, preparing the senses for a rich aromatic experience.
PALATE: On the palate, La Fée Parisienne offers an intense and velvety attack. The natural bitterness of the grand wormwood is perfectly balanced by the aniseed sweetness of fennel and star anise. The taste is complex, with successive layers of herbs and spices subtly unfolding after each sip, revealing a harmony between the freshness of the plants and more earthy and spicy notes.
FINISH: The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant herbal bitterness that gradually softens, giving way to sweeter notes of vanilla and spices thanks to hyssop and coriander. The absinthe reveals its full complexity after dilution, with the louche (the milky effect) releasing even deeper aromas.
