Dualidad is the new single barrel by Cihuatan Rum. This single cask has been made specially for Premium Spirits. It is a 17 year old, finished in Mayan Ceiba.
The name “Dualidad” or “duality” in Spanish was inspired by the nuances in flavor profiles of Salvadoran rum, which can be achieved when Cihuatán’s heavy rums meet different styles of barrels, such as virgin oak, Mayan Ceiba, ex-bourbon, ex-cognac, ex-oloroso and ex-rivesaltes.

Passiflora edulis, commonly known as passion fruit, is a species of flowering plant in the family Passifloraceae. Its origins can be traced back to South America, where it is native to regions spanning from southern Brazil through Paraguay and into northern Argentina. This tropical vine thrives in warm climates and is valued for its delicious fruit. ABK6 is a Single Estate Cognac, it’s produced on a chalky hilltop at 154m of altitude. 100% Ugni-blanc grapes were use. A double distillation toke place in smalle Charentais pot-stills. The ABK6 Pure Single aged in new and old french Limousin oak barrels of 350-liters.

Produced in the heart of Reunion Island, this traditional old rum is blended from a dozen oak casks of a dozen oak barrels from the Limousin and Allier regions. This union balance between the strength of cellar ageing and the explosion of noble aromas released released after 5 years in casks.
