TASTING NOTES :
COLOR: Brick red with amber highlights.
NOSE: Very expressive and spicy aromas, a mix of semi-dried fruits (apricot, figs, pecans) with orange zest, a touch of licorice, anise, and curry.
PALATE: Balanced acidity and sugar with well-integrated alcohol; notes of prunes and apricots with present acidity, bitter orange zest, licorice, and cinnamon in a persistent finish. The Colheita 2005 offers a unique kick!
FINISH: Long and persistent with notes of dried fruits and spices.
