The Penderyn distillery produces award-winning single malt whiskies and spirits at the foot of the magnificent Brecon Beacons in South Wales. Madeira Penderyn is aged in old bourbon casks and then in old Madeira wine casks to give it all its character.

The Sherrywood Penderyn in this bottle has been aged in old bourbon casks and old Oloroso sherry casks to bring out the full richness of its fruity flavor.

Serpent’s Tears is a Llandudno Peated, Smoky Fruity Single Malt Welsh Whisky at 46abv.

This whisky has been double distilled, and then matured in Ex-rye casks from Jack Daniels, and is one of only 2050 bottles. It is bottled at 50% abv.

TASTING NOTES:

NOSE: Silky and fruity - Blackcurrant, grape, cocoa, caramelized pear.

PALATE: Complex and rich - Black Forest, cinnamon, cherries, chocolate almonds.

FINISH: Long and smooth.
