Produced from 100% French malted barley. Double distilled in the Charentais abysses of the Merlet distillery, then matured in association with new and old French oak barrels. The result is a delicious, round, fruity and floral whisky with spicy notes. "Coperies" means "harvest" in an ancient local French dialect.

Unchill-filtered, natural colour. Brewed, fermented, distilled, matured and bottled on site:
• Organic malted barley.
• Brewed with Vercors spring water.
• Distilled at 50°C in a low-pressure still designed by the by the distiller.
• Aged for 3 years in oak barrels in the gentle atmosphere of an old Vercors silkworm nursery.

The delicately smoky notes mingle with those of dried flowers. Malt 35PPM. A beautiful tension between the mineral character of Vercors water and the salty taste of gourmet smokiness with spicy flavors. A subtle and elegant approach to the world of peated whiskies.

The Sovereign Carsebridge 1965 - 50 years is a true treasure of the Scottish whisky world. Distilled in October 1965, this single grain whisky spent half a century patiently maturing in a refill hogshead cask before being bottled in October 2015 by the renowned independent bottler Hunter Laing. Spicebox was inspired by a crafty Canadian, who would ship the contraband cargo in wooden barrels, black stamped with Spices. all was going according to plan, until a barrel took a spill, and their exporting days were over! The brand name itself communicates the flavor, and intrinsically links us to spiced whisky. The colours of the fonts, orange and brown, are related to the general perception of spice — the warmth conveyed through the various spice flavors. The branding and other fonts that are representative of the fonts of the products and printing of the 1920s, during Prohibition.
