TASTING NOTES :
NOSE: Before dilution, La Fée XS Française offers a powerful and assertive nose, marked by woody and resinous notes of fresh pine, accompanied by a subtle background of citrus.
PALATE: Once ice water is added (4 to 6 parts over a sugar cube, following the traditional method), the absinthe reveals a rich and textured body, with a gradual evolution of its flavors. Notes of anise and licorice intertwine harmoniously with herbal touches of fennel and wormwood, creating a complex and structured profile. The typical bitterness of absinthe is perfectly balanced with a gentle roundness, reflecting the quality of the ingredients and the mastery of the distiller.
FINISH: Persistent and powerful, the finish is marked by an elegant and long bitterness, punctuated by herbal nuances and soft spices. The palate remains wrapped in the warmth of the absinthe, with a slight freshness brought by anise and fennel.
